Once upon a time I kept up this blogging pretty regularly. I would write and post in the same months as events had happened. It was delightful! Now, I'm really behind and overwhelmed with the mass of content I want to post about. I mean, I still need to post about events from last November when we went to Boston.
Since then we've traveled to Amsterdam, Bruges, Versailles, Paris, and Cape Town in December 2015.
We went to Israel in March of 2016.
I got a bacterial infection and didn't feel like living for two months after that. I guess I could have posted in between bathroom breaks, but it would have only been about my desire to stop pooping. It was serious! I'm well now, thank goodness.
We went to the Outer Banks for a week in May and we've traveled up to Vermont and to Buffalo, NY and into Canada for a wedding and to see family.
The 4th of July has come and gone and I still haven't posted a thing. That's more than half the year and I'm drowning! (Not really, because I've only been to the pool once, so that's not an excuse.)
I thought summer would be the perfect time to catch up on things like this blog and the Shutterfly books I create and I was so wrong. Somehow I'm even more busy. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE??? We don't have tiny people to take care of yet and I still can't get myself to work on time any morning. And somehow I'm NEVER home in the evenings. Like ever! But I have no idea where I am. Forget about the weekends. I don't think I even have weekends anymore. Where does the time go? How are we approaching our 4th wedding anniversary and I've yet to fill out our anniversary book for year 3? What is going on?
So...this is my promise to the world that content is coming soon. My mid year (instead of New Years) promise to myself and you all. We'll all feel a lot better when it's written and posted anyway! I can feel it! The anticipation from you and the feeling of accomplishment from me. If I spend time writing blog posts instead of shaving my legs, you won't judge me right? I'd say I'd write instead of cleaning my house, but we all know I don't clean it anyway....so...
