Crockpot Ranch Porkchops

A few weeks ago I found this pin on Pinterest:

Seems easy enough right?  But I thought, "there has to be more to it than that."  So, I began searching Ranch Porkchops on the Internet and found a few alternatives, though not very different.  Some ask you to add two "cream of" soups (Mushroom and Chicken).  Some say to add a Cream of Chicken and a soup-can full of water or milk.  Whichever route you go, make sure you add two parts liquid so you have enough gravy.  It's really, truly that easy and they're so, so good!

Ingredients:
Porkchops (I used 6 smaller 'chops)
Dry Ranch Packet (or make your own MSG-free, details below)
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup

Directions:
Place the porkchops in the bottom of the crockpot.

Cover with the two soups.  Or one can of soup and one can of water/milk.

Pour contents of the Ranch seasoning on top.

Cover and cook for 4 hours on high or 7-8 hours on low.  I've done both and they both were plenty of time for the porkchops to get nice and juicy with plenty of gravy.

Once you have these melt-in-your-mouth porkchops, you need something to go with them!  So, whip up some mashed potatoes or add a baked potato to go with that delicious gravy!  Enjoy!

Who knew that Ranch seasoning had MSG as it's main ingredient.  That's crazy!  So, if you're worried about Monosodium glutamate (it gives me migraines), make your own Ranch seasoning!
Mix together:
2 tablespoons of dried parsley
1 teaspoon dried dill
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
How easy is that?
